If you are studying baguazhang elsewhere and have acquired this little text that I originally wrote for those in my group classes, you may well be annoyed at both the lack of photos and instructional details on the forms and methods that I describe. However, this was never meant to be a how-to manual as very little physical ability can be learned from text and photos of any kind. Hands-on instruction is essential to build skill even though theoretical understanding is also helpful. Besides, you're getting it for free!
This is a compendium of a near-decade of blog posts from my old website. it provides information and my thoughts on the solo and applications forms as well as the martial training methods of the Yang style as I have taught them to my students in both private and group classes.
